Tutors at GLA have the opportunity to change lives every day.

Volunteer with GLA today!

Teaching classes or mentoring students at GLA is an opportunity to make a real, meaningful impact in the lives of our students and affect positive change in our communities.

We are always looking for volunteers to fill these key roles and ensure that every student has a chance to succeed.

You don’t have to have an advanced degree or teaching certification in order to volunteer. Tutors at GLA must be 18 years of age or older and have their high school diploma or GED. Apart from this, we also ask that our volunteers be people that relate well to other people, encourage, promote optimism, and be dependable, flexible and patient.
