Greenville Literacy has many flexible volunteer opportunities available to fit your schedule. Click the links below for details about specific volunteer positions and how to get involved.
Adult Basic Education (ABE) Volunteer Tutor - teach reading, writing, math, computer skills, or Pre-GED (Social Studies, Science) to small groups or an individual
English as a Second Language (ESL) Volunteer Tutor - teach English to non-native speakers in small groups
Family Literacy Volunteer - provide enrichment activities for the elementary age children of GLA's adult learners (high school students eligible)
Computer Lab Volunteer - assist students working on instructional software in the computer lab
Special Projects Volunteer - help with mailings, fundraisers, or clerical type work
