There are many ways to support the programs Greenville Literacy offers to the community. To contribute funds either online or by mail, see the options below on this page. Funds may be given in memory of a person, in honor of someone, or as general funds.

You can also check our Wish List regularly, for possibilities for in-kind donations. In-kind donations needed range from spiral notebooks for student use to computer equipment to supplies, such as napkins and disposible plates, for tutor training sessions.

Most important, consider offering your services as a volunteer. Volunteers are needed not only for student tutoring but also for office and mailing assistance, reading to the elementary-aged children of students, the annual Book Sale, and many other activities.

What Your Contribution Can Provide

 • $35 will purchase a Basic Grammar text for an ESL tutor

 • $65 will purchase one set of Voyager-Reading and Writing for Today's Adults

 • $140 will purchase a class set of the Oxford Picture Dictionary

 • $182 will purchase a subscription of 10 copies of News for You for a year

 • $225 will purchase one set of Voices of Freedom for a U.S. Citizenship class

 • $360 will fund one student for a year

 • $630 will purchase three complete sets of Breakthrough to Math texts

 • $1,000 will purchase a computer for a student workstation in a learning center lab
